LACE TREES
ウェディングドレスから着想したレースの木のオブジェ。フランスのジュエリーブランドBoucheronの銀座本店ブライダルフロアのために制作。それぞれの木は、透明アクリルの真空成形とパイプの曲げ加工を組み合わせた9種46個のパーツで構成され、樹皮の模様を施した伸縮性のある白いレースで覆われている。壁沿いの木には、筒型のスピーカーや照明が吊り下がっており、オランダのインタラクティブデザインスタジオRandom Studioが制作した音と光の演出が体験できる。
LACE TREES is a sculpture inspired by a wedding dress. Created for the bridal floor of the Ginza flagship shop of French jewellery brand Boucheron. Each tree consists of 46 parts of nine different types which are made of transparent acrylic vacuum-formed pieces and bent pipes, covered with elastic white lace with a bark pattern. Tubular speakers and lights are suspended from the trees along the wall, allowing visitors to experience a sound and light production created by Dutch interactive design studio Random Studio.
